Residential Care for Children and Adolescents
North Star Behavioral Health provides residential programs for children and adolescents who struggle with psychiatric issues. Our youth residential programs provide a therapeutic milieu for a variety of diagnoses and problems including psychotic and mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety disorders, high risk behaviors and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.

Youth Services
The Debarr Campus name imparts a vision of a boundless journey-an awe inspiring trek—into a vast mountainous terrain filled with magnificent beauty, encouraging challenges, inspiring transitions, and rewarding accomplishments. The mission of the Debarr Campus is to provide therapeutic, educational, and spiritual programming to help the youth and their family along a trek toward abundant healing, abounding growth, and fruitful transition.
Evidence-Based Practices
The Debarr Campus incorporates a variety of evidenced based care practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Bio-Feedback, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Therapy.
